DIY: Minnie Mouse Beanies

by Salma Sudarmadji, Staff Writer

-Black Beanie

-Red w/ White Polka Dots Ribbon

-Fabric glue

-Black Felt

-Circular object to trace around (i.e. jar lid)

1. First make the ears. Use the black felt and cut out 4 circles. You can use a lid to trace circles for the ears. Pair off the ears and glue them together for sturdy ears.

2. Next make the bow with the ribbon. I used 22 inches, but you can use more/less depending on how big/small you want the bow to be.

Have a smaller ribbon as well to hold the bow together.

To make the bow: Fold in half, then take the right and left side so they meet in the middle. Pinch the middle together and tie the small ribbon around it.

3. Lay the beanie, ears, and bow flat on the table and decide where you want them to go. You can try on the beanie and match up the ears/bow as well. Next, glue it onto the beanie!

Voila! All Set for Disneyland!
